How to go about sharing Google Search Console access? Formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console (GSC) access helps Blastoff Labs perform a number of PPC campaign management activities: Observing organic search queries for infrequently-used, long-tail queries. These queries may be useful in expanding a PPC campaign’s keyword base. Monitoring search engine spider (crawl) stats, which informs our quality score (QS) optimization workflows. Monitoring search engine crawl duration and frequency, to detect issues that may impact PPC quality score, such as overly large images on the site. Q: Who are your paid search competitors?

PPC Search Competitors Please email us a list of your top 6 to 10 most significant direct competitors. Mostly, those that come to mind quickly. Blastoff Labs will also use our tools research tools to identify the full scope of competitors. If there are businesses that are significant indirect competitors; or resellers/distribution who impact the competitive environment, let us know about that too. Often this is a list of 6 to 10-12 company names, or their website url. Sometimes more; sometimes less. If you don’t know the url for a competitor, just send us the name. If they are obscure, the city or state will help; either way, we’ll find them.

How to go about sharing Google Merchant Center access? Google Merchant Center access helps Blastoff Labs manage campaigns with a product feed, including Shopping and PMax campaigns. Q: How much of my time will an advertising campaign take?

What is Your Time Investment? We don't take on projects where the client rolls up their sleeves working on the internals of advertising campaigns themselves, are trained to design PPC campaigns, or are required to spend their time working on them on a day-to-day basis. Our relationship with clients is designed to take the details of campaign design and optimization off their hands, so they can focus on more important business activities that better leverage their time, skills, and position within their business or position in an organization. Clients retain ownership of the accounts, campaigns, and intellectual property. We do not "lock-in" any client contractually, so this remains an opt-in business relationship. We communicate frequently on the status and performance of advertising campaigns and make ourselves available to answer any questions or requests that may arise. We also report regularly on the performance of campaigns, and associated issues or challenges.

Q: How much time to build PPC campaigns?

"How much time to build PPC campaigns?" is a question that requires qualification. Campaign development bears some similarities to software development. Some campaigns, like some software apps, can be built and launched in a few hours or a few days. However, in today's PPC environment that's not usually the best way to proceed. There are quite a few aspects to quality PPC campaigns that take time to work out. PPC campaign performance flows from a bit more of a "slower cook" approach - a more methodically, systematic, and thoughtful design process. Rushing a campaign through development will be paid for in lower performance and less efficient use of ad spend. Typical time to build PPC campaigns Depending upon our workload, we will typically spend about this amount of calendar time crafting new campaigns: 1 to 2 weeks to design, build-out, and launch a display campaign. 1 to 2 weeks to design and launch a YouTube campaign (2 videos, 6 ad groups). 2 to 3 weeks to design, build-out, and launch a medium-scale (~300 keywords, 20 ad group) search campaign. 3 to 5 weeks to design, build-out, and launch a medium-scale Shopping campaign including precision optimizing the feed (~5,000 products). A few campaigns The time to build PPC campaigns can be shortened by "pipelining" the development of multiple campaigns.If you have more than 1, but less than 5 campaigns we will typically build/rebuild them in parallel, with some staggering of the start date for each. Complex & enterprise-scale accounts We have re-engineered extensively, some large accounts with almost 1,000 campaigns active. These projects need to be carefully planned and scheduled after first running a baseline and familiarizing our team with the account. Each account is different.

Q: How to Share Bing Ads Access

Sharing Your Microsoft Advertising Account Number To share Bing Ads access (now called Microsoft Advertising), email us your account number. It's in the upper right corner when you're logged in at Ads.Microsoft.com Microsoft account numbers are 8 digits long, start with an F or X. We'll enter your account number into our Microsoft Agency Account, and a Bing Ads access request email will be sent to the address associated with that account. Once you approve the access request, we'll have 3rd-party access to work in your account. This provides us provisional 3rd-party access, so you maintain ownership and control of the account, and we won't have visibility into the financial information or other accounts that use the same Microsoft ID.

Q: Interim campaign updates?

Can Blastoff provide interim campaign updates, between reporting periods? In intervals between receiving PPC campaign performance reports from Blastoff Labs, you can log in to your Google or Microsoft Ad accounts to check on the status of PPC campaigns. Or, call us any time for our take on what's going on - we're always monitoring campaigns. Our campaign performance reports provide charts and summaries of key engagement, conversion, and financial metrics, compared to a previous reporting period.

Q: Is there an onboarding checklist?

Onboarding Checklists When onboarding PPC projects we'll send you a list of onboarding checklists, which are some requests that include instructions. The majority of items are to request you take some simple actions linking accounts. They are actions to set up to make providing any needed materials, account links, media, and questions. Onboarding steps vary based upon the type of campaign(s), the media requirements, and the state of legacy campaigns and accounts. We'll send you a set of links with instructions. In most cases, this is completed expeditiously and doesn't require much time.
